Zoey lifted her large pads quickly and delicatly across the sandy peach. Her golden fur blending in the hot sand, and her tail swayed from side to side as she moved. Her large body turned towards the blue water and she jumped in. The Retriver made a huge splash as she came back up with soaking wet fur and a sigh of relief as the heat started to fade away.
She let the coolness of the water take her away into a calm state. Closing her eyes, the fae lifted her head up to the sky and the sun shined on her, now darker, golden coat. A smile spread across Zoey's face, and was enjoying the time alone. Yet she was still lonely in so many ways. She wanted friends to talk to, so one to complain to, someone to laugh with. Ahh, what she would give for those things.
Ever since she left her family, it has been hard to become a social butterfly like she use to. Now the only sounds you mostly heard from her where her pants and pads banging against the sidewalk as she ran. It has been awhile since she has had to avoid her siblings, and all that has taken her toll. Zoey was almost silent half the time.
She opened her eyes and put her head down as she walked out of the cool water to feel the embrace of the hot sand. A little sound escaped her maw as her paws started to burn slightly and she jumped back into the water. Zoey sighed with relief again and just decided to stay in the shallow end of the water. How hard would that be? Plus, she would be more relaxed when she embraced the rest of the day.

A large, almost giant harlequin spotted canine came up from the rocky cliffside. He loomed over the rocky shore and water below, the gentle breeze that blew over the water misted over his face. He closed his eyes as he inhaled that salty, refreshing sent, but there was something else. his dark eyes opened as his nose tingled with the sent of a wet dog, he had thought that he was the only one present, atleast that is what he had hoped.
He scanned down below him, then his vision swept sideways and he caught sight of a fair coated canine splashing about in the shallows. Asher's long ears perked up as he stood there as stiff as a statue, watching and determining if this canine was friend or foe. He was a gentle soul, but when it came to fighting, he was monstrous.
His began to slowly creep back, ducking down behind the massive rocks, his claws making small 'ticking' sounds as he lifted and settled each paw. He kept a watchful eye on on the canine before he had completely vanished, he was going to take a closer look, not many canine would usually dare to fight him.

Rocko was lost, he hadn't seen anyone, found any food, or water, and he was starving. He walks down to the sand and the water of the ocean, this was his first time at a beach, everything was so weird. The sand between his pads. He took his first step onto the sand, it felt weird! The young pup jumped back at the feeling. He perked his ears up and tried again.guess that's just how it is. He thought to himself. So he finally adjusts to the feeling of the warm sand between his toes, and starts to walk toward the water, he knew what water was, at least he thought. He goes up to the shoreline and his paws enter the freezing water. Rocko walks out far enough to drink from the ocean. As he attempts to take his first sip, he spits it out and his head shakes. Gross.Salty water? what is this? he said to himself again. What choice did he really have? No water leads to dehydration. So he forces himself to drink the salt water. After he was done drinking he decided to explore the beach. Walking down the shoreline he spots some other dogs. He usually does not approach canines he doesn't know but he was desperate. He needs food. He walks down and sees the golden dog and approaches her slowly, stopping about five feet away, "...Hello." he says nervously.
