Name:
Lumina
Age:
1 year
Height/Weight:
22" 69lbs. *1
Gender:
Bitch
Breed:
German Shepherd
Desired Position:
House Pet *2
Short Description:
Solid white with dark brown eyes
Appearance:
White fur is wraped along this dog`s matching white skin. Her ever-captive self is held tightly by the rope that attaches her to the brick wall that is spattered here and there with drops of her and her master`s blood. Sore and raw, her paws have never felt the cool touch of grass. Her slightly large paws attatch distictly to her ankles, which are the start of her long, slender legs. Her body is well connected with her shoulders leading up to her neck, with her head well placed. Not too far down, not too far up. Tied securely around said neck is a tough rope that is tied tightly on a metal ring nailed and cemented to the wall. Her face is gentle and in the near center is her softly tapering muzzle. At the end of it is placed her strong nose, from which a small line of black comes from the top of her nose and slowly grows thinner as it procedes up her maw. Sharp fangs rest inside her mouth, along with a semi-large pink toungue that often lolls outside her mouth. Above her muzzle are her eyes, dark brown in pallor. Just atop those eyes are small, thick, brow-like spots of fur. They glare upon every man, while her pointed ears are pinned back. From those pointed, white ears is the back of Lumina`s neck. Going down from there is her spine, and then her haunches. Finally, at the end of her body, attaches her white tail. Somewhat long, and moderatly fluffier than most.
Personality:
Lumina is bold, somewhat cheerful, and eager to learn how to escape her master`s angry hold. She`s calmly confident toward odds that seem unlikely, and very hostile toward humans, especially males. She is timid toward others that are visibly stronger than her, yet she won`t back down from a challenge. She refuses to be toutched by humans. Though only because she`s been abused. Her temper is short, and she doesn`t like to waste time. She`s always one to argue, and hates being wrong. Offten in trouble and refusing to give up, Lumina is hard-headed and tough to get along with. Though she usually keeps her thoughts to herself, and is commonly found having conversations with herself. With such an odd dog, not many speak to her and few even notice her. She feels as though she`s untouchable.*3 Words are her most prefered weapon, over fangs and claws. Though if driven to it, she will attack without care. Yet she isn`t completely herdened. She on`t fight an unprepared opponent. Nor will she kill without reason. But that onyl applies to her kin, the dogs. Humans are a whole different story.
At night, when she gets lonely, she howls. It makes her feel free, though she`s not a wolf.
History:
Born to a life of cruelty, she endured most of it alone. Alone, she grew up around others like herself, and when she grew to the right age, was sold to a dog fighter. He mistreated her as well, preparing her for the fights by beating her, jabbing her, starving her, and using other forms of cruelty. But, to his dismay, Lumina refused to fight and only ran from the opponent that he faced her with. She was then sold again to her current owner, a cold, cruel man that mistreats her as well, usuing the same methods and then some. He terrorizes her with rocks, sticks, and sometimes forks and knives. He then would kick her and smack her when she growled or snapped at him. Lumina can only take so much, so she now bites harder or lunges at him without warning. He`s driven her to those extents of wanting to kill him. She bites at the rope every day, hoping that one of these days she`ll break it and be free from his vicious hold. She stares out at the world beyond her, wondering what it`s like past the walls of her alley-way prison.
Role-Play Sample:
LuminaTake a look at my body
Look at my hands
There's so much here that I don't understand
Your face say these promises
Whispered like prayersThe cars went by as normal. The clouds passed in the sky as normal. The birds even sang as normal today. But something in the alley down on the north side of town wasn`t normal. There was a tied up dog laying down in the shadows. Most would think her dead. But if they looked closely, they`d see her side rise and fall as she sleeps. But the white German Shepherd sleep in fear of her master, and still remains on allert as she dozes. Opening her eyes as the sound of an almost unnoticable door suddenly opens, she sits bolt upright and growls at the figure exiting the building. She oulls her lips back to reveal a set of fangs and teeth that are ready for the defending of herself.
"Lumina! Stop that at once, you stupid animal!" bellows the human, his hand drawing back as though he`s ready to grab something behind him. Sure enough, he draws out a short horse whip. Lashing it foreward, the end connects to the dogs face and leaves it wimpering in pain. The man then turns and goes back inside.I don't need them
Because I've been treated so wrong
I've been treated so long
As if I'm becoming untouchable
Well content loves the silenceLumina soon lies back down, and curls up in a ball. The strike of the whip had given her a cut along her muzzle, and now the small cut was starting to leak blood. She looks toward the street, wishing to run down the alley and be free. She turns her head to the rope attatched to the wall, and rises again to her paws. "Damn rope. How can it be this strong?" she growls, glaring at the thickly-woven strands. Opening her mouth, she bites down on the rope, only to find it enlaced around a metal chain. "So that`s it! The man got a new rope!" she thought, withdrawing her head and pricking her ears. Turning back around to watch the street, she growls quietly to herself and tries to ignore the jolting fear each time she hears the humans inside take a step near the door.It thrives in the dark
With fine winding tendrils
That strangle the heart
They say that promises sweeten the blow
But I don't need them, no
