Kato closed his eyes as he layed on the grassy patch that crept just close to the shoreline of the flowing water. He had been traveling the vast wilderness, passing through farms, streets and miles of forest, but now was the time to rest. It felt so good to relax, to relieve his paws of the pain from walking and roaming.
As he inhaled, he took in the tingling scents around him, the pine trees, the grass, the sweet smell of the water and the fresh air. There was a faint hint of wild flowers, there must be a field of them not far. His sharp, alert ears picked up the sounds of the water running and washing over the stones and rocks, Kato could also hear the sway of the grass and trees as the breeze blew by, all this was peaceful and tranquil.
The large canine finally layed his head down and took rest, he could not imagine any better of place to rest, his sleepy mind had even though of living here.. a place where wasn't a sniff of a human, no traps or rivals.. just him and the wild. Huffing, Kato let his mind drift off as he fell deep asleep in the open, unafraid of danger coming his way.

Dreamer padded through the quiet forest, ears perked, her deep golden orbs not concentrating on anything at all, just moving their gaze over everything that lay before her, the trees, the rocks, the roots, the ferns and shrubs.
The sun broke its way through the leafy canopy, sending small beams to the floor below, Dream cast her gaze to the patterned floor beneath her paws, loosing herself in one of her day dreams, just thinking about the shapes the patterns of light made through the leaves.
The sun beams danced off her beautiful thick blue merle pelt, her tail curled loosely up on her back, her steady even gait moving her smoothly along, her paws hardly making a sound on the woodland ground under her paws.
She was to preoccupied admiring the light patterns that she failed to see the steep bank ahead of her, as soon as her first paw went over she had no time to realise what had happened let alone try to correct herself, she tumbled head over tail down the bank and landed with a splosh in the shallow water, oops she giggled to herself, she stood up and shook the water droplets from her fur. She took this moment to find out where she was, she looked around slowly, she was in a shallow stream that lead to a dazzling lake, she sploshed her way over to the land, this place was beautiful, she sat down and looked around smiling. Her eyes fell on a lone figure, a large looking canine and from the scent a male, he didnt appear to move, so Dream fingured he was resting, best not to disturb he mumbled to herself. She bent her head down to the stream in which she had just climbed out of, she lapped at its coolness slowly, quenching her parched mouth. |

Kato nose was twitching in his sleep, he was dreaming of the wonderful paradise he had found, imagining the warm days he'd spend under the sun. Perhaps it was that deep natural instinct that made him feel so alive out here, feel like he was home. Kato then caught a sent in his dream, it snapped him awake. Blinking his eyes, he realized that the sent in his dream was real, a female? What would she be doing out here?
Sitting up, his ears perked, he glanced about quickly and then he spotted her, she was having herself a drink from the stream. he made not a single sound or moved a muscle as he watched her, he had come across many canine in his travels, some were easily frightened off by a twig snapping, it was so sad to see his own kind so afraid , so full of fear. Others he had come had gone wild, biting and snapping at anything that wasn't apart of their ' pack'.
After a few moments of watching her, Kato decided upon his means to approach her, He got up, shook himself just to relax his muscles in case she was a fighter. He then cleared his throat, but didn't move any closer or father," Excuse me...."

she gazed straight ahead whilst she drank, lost again in another fantasy, not really thinking about much in particular, but just enough for her to fall into a daydream. She let out a soft sigh as she watched her imagination dance before her eyes, seeming almost real, but then a strange muffled sound tickled her ears, she blinked and brought herself back to reality, she turned around and faced the canine that had spoken, her ears pricking up and her curled tail wagging slightly, "hi there" she said softly, she takes one step towards him, a small smile on her face "i'm Dreamer" she says introducing herself.

Kato gave a small gruff huff, not towards her, but to himself. In truth, he had been suddenly taken in by the beauty of the young female and it has caused him to get a little off track in his own thoughts. Kato let his eyes drift over her, trying to determine if she was up in his level of fighting skills and muscle, just incase their meeting turns sour.
The large male bowed his head to her, Dreamer? A lovely name. a sweet name..it goes well with her pretty face. Kato layed down abit, relaxing as it seemed that things were going fiarly well so far," I'm Kato..." What else was there to tell her, it was unwise to reveal too much.
(( OMG so sorry for bailing out...life problems over took me))
