LETS MAKE THIS MOMENT WORTH THE WHILE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The summer sun shone brightly in the periwinkle blue sky, the world below a yellow haze of heat and light. The temperature was quite hot, but not unbearbly so, unless you were one of those unfortunate dogs with long pelts, safe in winter, but in summer how much they must have to suffer. Most had taken shelter in empty buildings and under tree's. There was only a slight breeze, allowing smaller dogs a slight relief as the cooling sensation gently brushed across their pelts. The sea moved in and out, gently lapping at the sandy shores, before reatreating, then doing it again. It's salty scent not unpleasant, but not something you would want under your nose all of the time. The golden sands looked inviting as they sparkled.
A sandy colored mutt raced across the beach, kicking up little tufts of sand with her paws, leaving a golden trail behind her. Her emerald orbs alight with pleasure as she skidded to a stop near the water, panting. She slowly shook the sand from her coat, her heart thumping as it slowed back to it's normal speed. The femme's name was Dizzy, she had been drawn to the ocean by it's cool inviting appearance. She stood, gazing at it's lucious blue appearance, before padding in, embracing the cool but warm touch upon her heated fur.
After a few minuites of lolling about in the shallow water, getting her whole body wet, Dizzy slowly exited the liquid, knowing that the sun would dry her soon enough, but she would be cooler than before. With a loud sight, Dizzy flopped down onto a rock, not wating to lie on the sand and have it stick to her. The golden mutt put her head on her paws and watched the rhythmatic motion of the sea, thinking about her life, about how lonely it could be and how she hadn't spoken with another canine for a long, long time...
