appearance: She is built like the golden retriever but has more muscle than one would normally have because of her father's breeds, and she is more agile than one too. Her breeding gives her beauty, agility and strength all in one package. She's a bit smaller than your average golden retriever but not by much. She's not unusually small either, she's just not that big. She is a very light golden tan color, a gold and white combined and she has a dark patch on her chest and a bit of her underbelly where there are chocolate colored hairs mixed in with the light golden ones. A golden moon almost, with craters and the man on the moon and everything if you use your imagination. Her coat is soft and she usually managed to keep herself clean because she's proud of her appearance. Her eyes are between a golden and chocolate color and they always have an intelligent look in them.
personality: Artemis is very much a tomboy, she loves to go out and hunt.. She's just like the goddess that she was named after, the goddess of hunting.. She's very protective of those that she loves and will kill anyone who so much as insults them if she feels the need to do so. She's not scared of anything and she's very confident in her ability to hurt others and kill them too if she feels like it. She can either love intensely or she can be extremely cold and unforgiving, it all depends on which side of her you get on. It's not often that she'll let someone change sides, first impressions count with her because that's what she goes on. She also thinks quite a lot of herself and hates being insulted or even compared to, because in her mind no one can compare to her. They can't even get close to being able to be compared to her. She's the whole package and one of a kind. She will probably also never mate or really fall in love or experience romance because no one will ever be perfect enough for her. She's off limits to everyone. She would probably get offended if someone does decide to try and tempt her in any way. She's a very independent type of dog that can take care of herself even at this young age and she doesn't need anyone to try and help her either.
history: Artemis was born at the same time as three other pups. Her siblings who were named Nessie, Scooter and Tybalt. Things went really well after their birth for a little while, they were all happy and as well fed as a stray dog can be, but then her father, Mercutio, disappeared and no one could find him or find out where he had disappeared to. In her mind he had abandoned them all, left her poor mother with the big responsibility of four hungry puppies and no way of getting food because she couldn't leave them. When Artemis was old enough to start hunting she'd done just that, going off to catch small animals and drag them back to her family so that they could stay well fed instead of dying of starvation. Then one day her father had just shown up again, out of nowhere. She'd forgiven him for leaving after he explained what had happened but she wouldn't forgive him as easily if he did it again. The whole family have gotten separated again though, Scooter has stayed with her though because the two of them are close. They're trying to find the rest of their family but they're struggling to do so.
