age:1 1/2 years old
gender:Female
breed:Great Dane
appearance:
Daisy is a huge Great Dane, 32 inches in height and 130 pounds, that has a base coat of weight with black smudges all over her body. Along with these black spots there are patches of gray fur. She has surprisingly soft coat and her skin is a soft pink. Looking at her you can see her left eye is burning blue and other a dark chocolate brown. She has long legs with large paws attached that have light gray pads.
personality:
Daisy is a sweet pup that is not one for confrontation. She hates arguing and usually brushes insults off with a sigh or hides the hurt inside. She gets moody only when she has not eaten for awhile which can happen more than you think. Being a care taker and a bit of a people pleaser she is almost always ready to help another canine in need. Daisy is a complete perfectionist and a total klutz. She finds herself flopping all over the place and apologizing to all those she knocks into. She does not do well under stress because if she is worried she is unable to sleep or eat. For the most part she is laid back and listens to conversation but if you ask her she will give you her opinion. If you know her well she is much more likely to open up and express her true feeling rather than sugar coating them. If you give her some time she will give you her heart which she wears on her paw no matter how much she wishing she could suppress it.
history:
Daisy like most other puppies was born in a breeders house were she was raised with her brothers and sisters. Being the large her sibling had not interest in playing with her because she always seemed to crush them no matter how hard she tried not to. One by one she watched her littermates disappear but she never seemed to catch the human’s attention. Then again she never tried to. Finally in about 5 months after she was born her breeder dumped her at a local pet store. From the beginning she could tell this place was no place for a dog. They gave Daisy a crate far too small and not nearly enough food the keep her ribs hidden under fur. Finally one night a teenage boy closed up shop and went outside to smoke with a few pals but he forgot to lock Daisy’s cage after feeding her. As soon as he was out of sight she busted out of her cage and flew out the front door into what she thought was a beautiful world. Daisy was only 8 months old as she ran down the street into the darkest ally she could find. There she hid at the end of fall living off the scraps she could find in the trash as heating herself through the winter with the dryer vent that blew into the small area. One day an unexpected visitor came to the ally and captured Daisy in her sleep shoving her in a truck and when she saw the day light again it she was being let towards a gray building full of cries of dogs that begged to leave. When her handling let down his guard she turned, biting his arm as hard as she could and again running off as fast as she could. Today she lives in the dog park trying to blend with the other dogs so no one will again try to take her away.
