appearance: Kaya has a slender body, with long legs and a slim torso. She has copper colored fur that lies flat, though it spreads some at the ends and around her feet, neck, and tail. She has a squared head with a long muzzle. Her nose is light pink, the color of sea shells, and her eyes glitter green with flecks of blue inside.
personality: She is fun-loving but defensive. She is very loyal and offering to friends. She doesn't really like to be called mean names like "shorty" and/or "midget". She hates it when people are mean and are saying really inappropriate things. She wants a mate but she would not want him to follow her around all the time. She is also very fond of puppies.

Kaya was the runt of her litter, the smallest and weakest. But she and her two siblings were happy with their mother. They all lived together happily. Until she was two, that is. One night, her older brother (the unspoken favorite of the litter) was killed when out hunting. No one knows how or by who, but he never came back. Kaya's mother went insane with grief, and eventually left her two remaining pups alone. Kaya's older sister, Jade, took charge of the situation, raising Kaya for the remainder of the year. But when Jade found her soul mate, Kaya had to go. Two was company, three is a crowd, you know. So she went off on her own, scraping by and making friends whenever she could. It was enough. Barely.
