name: Shepherd
pronunciation: SHEP-urd
alias: "Shep" pronounced: SHEP
age:4 years old
gender: Male
breed: Australian Cattle dog
appearance: Black and tanish brown fur, alert intelligent oval shaped eyes. Brown eyes. A sturdy, agile appearance, with a broad skull. His feet are arched strongly with his claws. His muscles are in a good condition. 49 cm tall, 50 lb's. Black fur all the way down to the muzzle and a tan underbelly along with tan legs. Also some white markings also apply in the fur color. Naturally long, thin and UN docked tail, allowing better balance. Ears pointed up like standard Australian Cattle dog. Pure bred and is in good shape for a stray dog. Straight parallel muscular legs. Brown streaks above eyes symbolizing eyebrows
personality: Over overconfident, sloppy, clumsy and athletic. A tireless worker who tends to be playful. He will hurt others under bad treatment. A huge ego and because of his athletic skill thinks he's super dog or something. Not very competitive, only competitive when fighting for food. Extremely honest. Loyal as most dogs are. When under exercised or bored will go into a destructive frenzy that drives humans crazy. Not very dominant like most Australian cattle dogs, but when trying to be bold does what most dogs his breed tend to do, nip at the dogs (or whoever) heels. Very sharp and can be extremely suspicious of anything that is a little odd. Hard headed and clever (only clever when under pressure). Very adventurous despite suspicion
of new friends or acquaintances. Extremely fierce and aggressive when he feels threatened. Feels that he needs lots of socialization in order to find a real friend he can trust in this world of misfortune. Gets queasy when ever the word 'mating' comes up (Has been neutered). When into the zone of happiness tends to forget about responsibility or safety.
history: Shepherd was born on a farm where his mother and his father (both pure bred Australian Cattle dogs) had a litter of five puppies including him. Born in a milky white coat, he was done being fed milk and later adopted by an athletic middle class family, who took extremely good care of him and exercised every day with him. He was adopted along with a half pug half Dachshund, also know as a daud or a daug, who's name was princess because the family had mistaken him for a girl at first and just stuck with the name. Shepherd and Princess became the best of friends, Princess who was 8years older then him tended to him like a father would. They explored together memorizing the neighborhood as best as the could, the places to get food, the no-no zones, and the places where stray dogs tried to suck you into their scams. When Shepherd turned two years old,Princess was diagnosed with skin cancer in his ear, they had a procedure done to take off the ear and kill the cancer, but it spread too fast and Princess was put down in about a year. The bad news didn't stop there, when Shepard was about 3 years old the family that took care of him got evicted from their home and were forced to leave Shepherd behind. Shepherd turned his energy into a destructive rage in which he fought dogs endlessly until they gave him enough respect to have his own alley, in which he could remember the good old days by himself in there. After surviving a year on the streets and going through so much, Shepherd is ready to turn over a new leaf, but is everyone else ready?
