Hello Members,

I've created this thread to get your input on what I should do with Broken. I'm not sure if anyone will lean towards closing Broken, but if you do please do say so, I need everyone's opinion.

If your opinion leans towards keeping Broken up, I need you to help support that, help persuade me, and help by keeping active.

I think we should not loose hope and go for keeping it open Zephy. When I get back from vacation, I'll be able to be active again. Broken has lots of potential and I think we shouldn't close it. That is my opinion ^^

I feel bad for posting, because I haven't yet even roleplayed yet, but I think we should keep it up. Maybe bringing up a V3 after a bit would bring back other's interest.

I'll be honest and say I'm a bit skeptical. No offense, but it's hard to keep a forum alive if the main admin isn't on much (which I don't think you have been?). At the moment, I think we should see how your activity is (and might be when school starts) first, and then decide. If you ask me, I think a V3 would be awesome. We could restart with a new layout, new images, and maybe spiff up things. A mini-plot would be cool as opposed to a free-form stray dog forum, but more like an optional mini-plot, where it wouldn't have to affect a character.

Anyway, lately I've been addicted to drawing (and ChickenSmoothie). For that, I haven't been on much, but that's not to say I'm about to give up either. :3 However, I myself have just... lost my muse completely. I don't know if I'll continue role playing at all. Whether you keep me on staff or not is your decisions (won't really bother me ^^;, but yeah. I don't think you'll see me in another role play anymore.

I think broken has a lot of potential. siding with snow, i say that you keep it open. maybe restarting would be a really good idea to gain new members and a interested plot that everyone is interested in?. I can't really have a say in this though, because i make role-plays, and people join. but along the lines i lose interest and stop role-playing.

But in the long run, its about how you think about things, Maybe getting someone who can make decisions while your not here would help alot, and hoping they'd be active enough. During my years of role-playing i realized people appreciate having their characters accepted faster, and having a plot they can bend a little (: whatever you wish.

Mocha, I think everyone does deserve a better explanation then me putting a quick reason, coming back and saying everything's fine, then disappearing again for another month.

The first time I disappeared was because my computer tower's hard drive blew up (quite literally) due to... a lot of dog hair (now under control, thankfully). My laptop downloaded a virus, but those problems are solved now (apparently AVG isn't helpful). The last few times I left were due to a mental illness I was facing for a very long time, putting me in the hospital.

Now, to reassure anyone, I do think Mocha's idea is great, waiting to see if anything happens, such as school or something, that would take me away again. But where I stand right now in real life, things are very positive and I am being very careful when it comes to browsing the internet and downloading things.

To everyone who believes Broken has potential, I'm with you one hundred percent!

This thread isn't done yet, I would still love to hear from everyone else, but I think we might already know the outcome.

That sucks. o.O I use BitDefender which is good. I used to have Norton Security. Anyway, I guess I agree with Daph. I know Embz is an admin, but I've notice while you gone, no one seems to want to make any decisions while you're gone. I think it would help to remind us what we can and can't do (activity checks, contests, mini-plots, etc...) in case of a disappearance again.

I only just joined this morning. Really, it's all up to you. But I agree with Mocha, wait a while and see then. Though a V3 might get it up and restarted if you choose to keep it open. But that's just my opinion, really.

I see where you're coming from, Mocha. I guess I assumed you guys knew it was okay to carry on like normal when I'm gone with activity checks (though they're never "normally" scheduled) and such. I think in v3 there will be a place that states what each staff position can and can't do then, if there is a disappearance, and hopefully there will be more of a structure when it comes to activity checks.

Okay So I don't know much about whats going on around here, but personally I think this site is doing pretty well. You could put out a few activity checks/emails to get activity flowing again. But over all I think it's a very pretty site you got. I joined and felt instantly welcome, you guy are super nice. I say keep going, if you want to revamp with v3 that's cool too. Just don't close for too long!

I think Broken should remain open. I really like how there's not much of a plot and you can practically create your own. I like Broken the way it is right now. I suppose making another version isn't too bad. I'd just like to stay here.

D: i'll miss broken if you close it. i think you guys should like...take it step by step and create v3. c: but that's just me. i shouldn't even be talking since i was never really active.
