The coat. Tov's fur is a light tan, the colour of beach sand, on her underbelly and inside of her pillars. The colour gradually darkens to a dark ash grey on her back wich comes up to her forehead. The fur is soft and silky, and on the ears, the tail and behind the legs, it grows long, feathering. Around her eyes is a dark ring, as if she is wearing eye liner. The fur blackens near the nose.
The body. Her body is streamline and elegant, her deep chest curving up to her muscled hindquarters, granting her with great stamina. The tail is long, with ample feathering. It is always held high, like a wavering flag in the wind. Her back curves into her withers, flexible, adding a spring in her step and elegance to her stride. The pillars are long, narrow and delicate, built for speed and agility. The paws are wide and the toes spread for greater grip. There are also tufts of fur between them. The whole body is built for speed and stamina, but also houses compact strength in it's toned muscles.
The head. Geni's neck is long, lean and powerful, sporting a narrow head. Her ears are amply feathered and flop over themselves. The muzzle is narrow, ended by a sensitive black nose. The teeth are sharp and white due to her young age. Her eyes are a bright saphire blue, accented by her dark eyeliner markings. Her features are delicate and beautiful, nothing to gawk at, but very pretty all the same.262

Gen gives the first impression of a very feminine being, which can be true, and can be false. Let me explain. At first, she will approach cautiously and will be a little shy, but she quickly warms up to you once she has decided you aren't a threat. She likes to make good conversation, her sometimes philosophical view on things giving place to intelligent comments she thinks. She is very courageous, but not a dare-devil and will think practical most of the time.
She does care a lot about her friends and close ones, and makes a very loyal friend. If one of her friends were trapped in some life or death situation, she probably would try to save him/her, regarding every possible solution. She might not die for you though, unless she really, really cares about you, like a mate or something.
She does have a bit of a temper though, behind her king and gentle character, she doesn't accept being insulted easily. She will get angry moderately easily, but on the other hand, will cool down quickly too. She is sensitive to the feelings of those around her, and will take care not to offend them. She has a soft spot for pups and loves playing with them.
She likes to add a little humour in conversations sometimes, but tends to be serious mostly.230

Tovaritch was born in Scotland, to a breeder that took care to preserve the orientalness of the Salukis, giving them names from their country of origin. Her parents were two new Salukis to this breeder, and he felt they were meant to be together. And so Tov was born to a loving family in the beautiful slopes of the north.
She grew attached to her owner and her home, but the owner knew someday he would have to let her go. That day arrived when she was three months old. She was sad when she departed, but found the love of a young family with children, where she was happy and comfortable. When she was one, the family had to move to Australia and unfortunately couldn't take her.
They gave her to a friendly tramp, who made her discover the British isles. She marveled with him at the immensity of the world. One day, they embarqued illegally on a cargo ship heading for America. They jumped into the water before they came to shore, not wanting to be caught by inspection officers.
She stayed a whole year with him, until the day where sshe woke up, finding her tramp dead. After coming to the evidence, she had to make her way on her own, as a stray.218
