"Disgusting." she murmured hoarsly as she stepped in a heap of rotten food; a mix of mayonnaise and what seemed to be some vegetable. She shook her front paw quickly, trying to rid herself of the slimey feeling and failing at it. Just then, out of the corner of her eye, she caught a small unexpected movement and turned to focus on it. There, in the midst of all the trash, smack in the middle of another hunk of brown chunks of rotten meat, sat a tiny, exquisite mouse. Incredulous, she stared, but didn't say a word. For one thing, she wanted to make sure he wasn't a figment of her imagination;for another, she wanted to keep him to herself for a few minutes. He was very charming. Up on his haunches he sat, chubby rear firmly planted, little front paws hoolding a piece of meat. The pieces were somewhat round, and the mouse clutched the morsel with a hand on each side. When he finished eating one, he'd help himself to another, turning it aboutand adjusting it in his small fingers till it was perfectly situated, then he'd start nibbling again. Aero squatted down, catching his shiny dark eye. She gazed at him, he gazed at her, then he looked away and nonchalantly went on eating. Aero watched in total awe and he fell to all fours, looked at her, and scurried away. "Wow." was all she could say. MUSE; 5/10 COMMENT; gah .. suck but what ever . COUNT; two sixty seven . ' such a vile place to be ' she whispered to herself, repulsed from the conditions in the narrow passage. as she stepped her paws landed admix with the slime and filth that layered the floor, ' DISGUSTING ' she squealed, immediately shaking her front paw in desperation. her mind pondered over thoughts of what kind of animals could possibly live in these conditions, but after seeing a rodent scatter by her mind stopped asking. it was quite spectacular really, the rodent looked back at her with its dark beady eyes that seemed to signal happiness; it could make a good home for you, definitely not me she thought- and with that, she continued to push her body down the passage in attempt to get to the sunlight, but that was all until she spotted something else moving in the alley, among the garbage bags and trash cans was a figure; and mind you it was a little too big to be a mouse, and the size was nothing for a rat. luckily curiosity did not kill the canine, daphne continued on her way, eager to investigate. it wasn't long before her eyes lay upon a female dog. it seems daphne had picked a wonderful time to wander out- for her bi-polar mood had stopped mostly towards calm and kind; which is a personal favourite of most dogs. ' oh, im sorry am i intruding? ' daphne asked through pursed lips, her salmon hued tongue rolling effortlessly out her mouth in a panting motion. ooc; i hope you dont mind that i replied.
