Name Dakota
Pronunciation
Dah - Ko - Tah
Age
3 Years
Breed
Siberian Husky -- Rustic
Appearance
Summer -- In the summer, Dakota's fur seems to give golden hints in it. The rustic coat combined with a slick alabaster bring out her beauty well. During this season, Dakota isn't very fond of the blazing heat, her coat not really adaptable to it. With the heat scorching on some days, it's best to find her under some shaded tree if not in the water. Preferring the biting cold than the blistering heat, it's no wonder she is more likely to be found in shaded areas when coming across sun kissed places.
Winter -- Ah yes, the husky's favorite season to say the least. During this bitter climate, Dakota's fur darkens, bringing out the lush ruby inside of it. Her under fur, being white, blends nicely into the snow when fallen. This gives her an edge when hunting for food such as rabbits or something small. With the embrace of the brisk chills from Winter, the icy blue eyes that have been given to this beauty intensify, giving her a cold approach on things one would practically assume.
Personality
Rude and Cocky -- Having grown up alone most of her life, female husky wasn't exactly the morning glory. One of her worst habits is her rudeness to others, especially on first meetings with them. Though not one to take to fighting, her remarks are sometimes spiteful and give other's reasons to keep a distance unless they want to go into a big conversation she will eventually walk away from. Her cocky side is just something that comes in comparison to her rudeness. She feels she can do things all on her own with little to no help at all and she despises getting any assistance what so ever in anything.
Kind -- Sometimes in the spur of a moment, the dog will give someone this rare side of her that is kind. Not one for mushy stuff but still not a cold - hearted canine through and through, the kindness is there, just deep. One who has just become 'friends' with her will most likely not get to see this side of her just yet unless they both are thrown into a situation that calls for it.
Deadly -- The deadly personality that lies within Dakota is not frequently seen for it is really hard to 'anger' her. Sure, she can get annoyed easily sometimes but she knows when to calm her mind and not go into one of these weird tantrums. The one thing that will set off her aggression is the human race. Oh hows she despises it so badly and would do anything just to watch a human cry in pain. Found un-tamable by said race, she walks the streets, eager to cause havoc for any human that she spots whether it be just a simple tripping of a passerby or an attack on a hot dog guy.
History
Born in Alaska, Dakota was more adapt to harsh, freezing climates rather than the heated summers one might experience in somewhere else. Having grown up alone most of her life up until now, female was rather bitter in her attitude unless given a spur of moment where she feels the necessity to act kind or just curious. Being a purebred Siberian Husky, Dakota is popular among the Alaskan sledding teams even though she belongs to nobody and is a stray. Once, a man, a champion sledder, tried to capture her and add her to his elite dog sledding team. This failed in so many ways he had to finally call it quits, finding out that obtaining this canine as a pet was out of the question. With her cocky nature and her despise for the human race, the man was lucky she didn't bite his hand off the moment he stuck it out to pretend to be friendly to her. Her hatred for humans grew over the years even up to the year she turned three and she feels there is no good in this species. Why would they use her kind for their own pleasure of dragging them around those deadly roads. Why would they pretend to care for her kind when only they train them rigorously to compete for a sport that most don't even like. Humans are selfish and need to do things all on their own, see how they like not having dogs to rely on. Setting aside her hatred for the human race, she isn't exactly what you'd call dog friendly neither. A bitch by all terms, it is hard to get on her 'good side' or even to have her think she can deal with you. More of the silent type unless approached, she has found herself wandering many new places lately.
