name: Novocaine
pronounciation: No-vo-cane
alias: Novo, Caine, Voca
age: 2 years
gender: Female
breed: Saluki
appearance: Tall and slender, like the rest of her breed. Novocaine is black on most of her body, starting up at the top of her nose. Edging up her head, the black spreads to her long-furred ears. A few tousles stick out from her chest, the stray hairs duplicated on her elbows, back legs, and curly tail. A brwn dot rests above each eye, resembling eye-brows. White streaks down her throat and broadens as it gets to her chest bone. A large rib-cage defines Novocaine`s frame work, while her body slims farther down her sides. Light brown wraps around her front legs; white covers her paws, interupted by pale brown specks. The insides of her back legs are a creamy brown color, with one of her back paws like her front.
personality: Novocaine, contrary to her name, hates to be still. She often runs off without thinking and hates being alone. Her mind is quick, but it might take her a minute to catch on to something. She doesn`t like being still, either. She loves playing games and fooling around, but knows when it`s time to be serious. Novocaine`s almost always in a good mood, chatting up a storm or talking to herself. But when her bad moods creep up, she stays silent as a mouse and avoids mostly everybody. However, it takes a lot for her to get to that point. She has flaws, however, just like everyone. She hates it when others order her around, or when somene refuses to tell her something. She seems more likely to talk your ear off than to rip out your throat. The only time she`s really evr quiet is when she`s asleep, and even then she tends to talk in her dreams. Some find her annoying, and when they insult her, she gets very upset about it.
history: Born a stray, raised a stray, Novo`s mother was hitby a car when she was still young. Raised by a group of strays like herself, she learned how to survive on the streets. Afetr about 9 months, the other strays got caught by the dog-catcher, and were sent to the pound. Alone, Novo was left to fend for herself, having no one to talk to or support her. As she grew, Novocaine`s spirit grew with her, and thus she became the chatty, outgoing dog she is today.
